The Truth about Cell Phone Reverse Look Up

You may be wondering if it is possible to conduct a cell phone reverse look up online. Well, the truth is that it's quite hard to do if you don't know where to look and how to go about doing it. There are all sorts of websites online that will promise you many different things. If you go by these sites, chances are that you will end up disappointed and you may even conclude that it's not possible to perform even a simple cell phone reverse look up on the internet.

Here are a few ways to look up and research cell phone numbers to find out who they belong to.

First you can simply involve a private investigator who can do all the hard work for you and you don't have to do anything except wait for the answer. For many people this is not an option since it's too expensive for them to hire a private investigator. But for some people e.g. if you are prepared to spend several hundred dollars for the information you're looking for, this is an easy way to do it.

Another option is to look for someone who has access to a reverse look up directory or service. If you have a friend who works for the law enforcement, an insurance company or any such organisation they may have access to a reverse cell phone look up database and you can ask them for a little favor to look up the cell phone number for you.

But if you are like most people, you probably don't have the money to hire a private investigator to research a telephone number and you probably also don't have a friend who has access to an exclusive database that contains information that is also used by the law enforcement.

So you only other option is to get access cheaply and quickly from an online version of a reverse cell phone lookup service. There are many of them around so what I have done is review a few that you can look at today. Don't fall for any ads that promise free access to these databases, it's simply just not possible, at least not for cell phone number lookup. Unlike landline numbers which are freely available for the public to access, cell phone numbers are not, and companies that provide access to cell phone records have to buy the records from other companies such as phone companies.

If you do manage to find one it will probably be at least 15 years out of date and if you really think about it many people did not have cells phones back in the early 1990s. They were just too expensive then. Also, people frequently change their cell phone numbers so you need access to a reverse cell phone look up database that is frequently update and kept up to date.
